This is a charming old barn we see every time we make the trip to Alabama to visit the folks!

We usually are there in summer and the barn front is covered with Ivy...not so much in March, I noticed.

We just got back from a sad trip to Alabama; a death in the family.

(Charles brother, Odell, passed away)

Although it was a sad occasion, I was so touched by the beauty of the springtime flowering trees in full bloom.

 This was taken as we were zooming down the highway north of Birmingham. Although this is a blurred picture, I love the soft pastels in this scene.
